Riga Automatic Window Opener
The Riga Automatic Window Opener is a great feature for those do not want to manually open their roof windows. This Automatic window opener comes with a quick release "arm" that allows the opener to be disconnected in adverse weather conditions. The black tube is filled with special paraffin oil - which expands when the temperature reached around 72º and the piston will push the window open up to about 14". When temperature falls a heavy spring pulls the window closed. No electricity needed!

At what temperature does it open?
It starts to push the window open at around 72 degrees, up to about 14". When it cools, a heavy spring closes the window.
What should I do in a storm?
Use the quick-release arm to disconnect the opener in adverse weather. For extra protection against gusts, a roof window wind restraint kit is also available.
