The Royal Orangerie Greenhouse not only provides a first-class quality greenhouse environment, it also adds significant old fashion English style and beauty to your backyard. This is a classic English greenhouse.

Important Shipping & Delivery Information 🚚

  • 🌿Curbside Delivery
  • 🌿Delivery is done through LTL Motor Freight and is free, unless you live in an area with limited access (i.e. island etc...this is extremely rare) this might incurr extra fees.
  • 🌿We ship using an 18 wheeler (let us know if there are tight roads or low hanging wires, manufacturer cannot guarantee the availability of a smaller truck)
  • 🌿 Someone will need to be available to receive the greenhouse. We will call to set up a delivery timeframe. Driver might need help although he will do most of the work.

Overview

The Royal Orangerie is one of the premier greenhouses in the Janssens Helios line. Since its introduction in 1999, Janssens has become a leading supplier of this style of greenhouse in Europe. It gives you a first-class growing environment and adds real old-fashioned English style to your backyard.

Well insulated and well built. Rubber seals, single-piece vertical panes and 4 mm tempered glass make it significantly better insulated than typical glass greenhouses. The aluminum profiles are larger and thicker than most in its price range, and it is TUV and GS tested and approved.

Certified for real weather. The structure is certified for 115 mph winds (3-second gusts), a 28.5 psf ground snow load and a 20 psf roof live load. The certification letter is in the documents below.

Our tip: The greenhouse ships with a double sliding door. If you would rather have hinged doors, add the hinged door upgrade to your cart and the manufacturer will swap them in. An optional accessory kit adds shelving, a shade curtain and a misting system.

How delivery works

    Choose your size, color and options. Your greenhouse ships from the manufacturer's warehouse, packed for freight.

    We call to schedule

    We'll contact you to set up a delivery time frame that works for you.

    Free curbside freight

    Delivery is by LTL motor freight on an 18-wheeler. Let us know about tight roads or low wires so we can plan ahead.

  4. 4

    Receive and unload

    Someone needs to be there to receive the delivery. The driver does most of the work but may need a hand.

Foundations and bases are bulky, so we recommend ordering them together with your greenhouse to avoid a separate freight charge.

What wind and snow loads is it rated for?
The Royal Orangerie is certified for 115 mph winds (3-second gusts), a 28.5 psf ground snow load and a 20 psf roof live load. The certification letter is in the documents section.
Can I get hinged doors instead of the sliding door?
Yes. The greenhouse comes with a double sliding door. Add the hinged door upgrade to your cart along with the greenhouse and the manufacturer will replace the sliding doors with hinged doors. You can also add an extra sliding door the same way.
What is in the optional accessory kit?
The optional Royal Victorian Orangerie accessory kit includes a narrow top shelf (10 ft long and 4" wide), a 10 ft seed tray shelf, a 3-piece shade curtain and a misting system. You provide a hose to connect the misting system to your faucet.
How is it ventilated?
It has three roof windows, two with automatic openers and one with a manual spindle opener, plus two louvre windows.
Is shipping really free?

Yes. Shipping is free. Locations with limited access, such as islands, are rare exceptions that may carry an extra fee, and we'll tell you before anything ships.
