    • 🌿Delivery is done through LTL Motor Freight and is free, unless you live in an area with limited access (i.e. island etc...this is extremely rare) this might incurr extra fees.
    • 🌿We ship using an 18 wheeler (let us know if there are tight roads or low hanging wires, manufacturer cannot guarantee the availability of a smaller truck)
    • 🌿Someone will need to be available to receive the greenhouse. We will call to set up a delivery timeframe. Driver might need help although he will do most of the work.

Most customers purchase tempered glass because it is clear and hence for esthetic reasons. However, polycarbonate greenhouses are almost indestructible, easy to maintain and can retain heat better. We offer the best of both worlds by combining esthetics and sturdiness. We now offer the option of a polycarbonate roof and a glass side panels.

    Overview

    The Royal Victorian VI34 gives you 150 square feet of classic English greenhouse. It comes from the Helios line by Janssens of Belgium, who have made high-end glass greenhouses for over 30 years and introduced the Victorian model in 1999. At 10 by 15 feet, there is room for a wide range of plants and gardening projects, and its English and Victorian styling makes it a handsome part of the backyard.

    You can build it fully in glass or as a hybrid, with a polycarbonate roof over 4 mm tempered glass side walls. Either way, the walls use single, one-piece sheets of glass held in rubber seals rather than metal clips, which keeps more warmth inside than typical glass greenhouses.

    The 6' 7" side walls with large gutters give you about a foot more headroom than most greenhouses. Three roof windows handle ventilation: one with a classic spindle opener that holds steady in the wind and two that open automatically. A louvered window, gutters with downspouts, a 4 1/4" foundation frame and a misting system all come in the kit.

    Our tip: The double sliding door can go on any side of the greenhouse, so decide where your path will lead before you lay the foundation.

      Delivery is by LTL motor freight on an 18-wheeler. Let us know about tight roads or low wires so we can plan ahead.

      Receive and unload

      Someone needs to be there to receive the delivery. The driver does most of the work but may need a hand.

    Foundations and bases are bulky, so we recommend ordering them together with your greenhouse to avoid a separate freight charge.

    What's the difference between the glass and hybrid versions?
    The glass version uses 4 mm tempered glass throughout. The hybrid has a polycarbonate roof with the same 4 mm tempered glass side walls. Both come in green or black.
    Is a foundation included?
    Yes. A 4 1/4" high foundation frame comes with the greenhouse. The assembly and foundation manual under Technical documents covers how to prepare the base.
    Can I change the doors?
    The double sliding door can be installed on any side of the greenhouse. You can also upgrade to hinged doors, which the manufacturer supplies in place of the sliding doors, or add an extra sliding door for a second entrance.
    How is it ventilated?
    Three roof windows: one with a traditional spindle opener, which is great in windy conditions, and two with automatic openers. A louvered window adds more airflow.
    Is it tested for snow and wind?
    The VI34 is TUV and GS tested and approved, which is similar to a UL listing. The structural certification for snow and wind loads is under Technical documents.
