RSI Greenhouse Radiant Propane Heater

The RSI greenhouse and workshop heater delivers direct radiant heat and holds your set temperature over long periods. It is a ventless heater that runs on LP (propane) gas.

An electric starter and thermostat-controlled heat output make it easy to set the right temperature. The kit includes:

  • The heating unit
  • Removable legs for floor use
  • A wall bracket for mounting on a solid wall
  • A quiet, battery-operated ignition
  • A built-in blower fan

It puts out up to 18,000 BTU and heats up to 600 sq ft of greenhouse space. Use it on the floor with the included legs, or mount it to a solid wall. Do not mount it on greenhouse walls.

Multiple burner tiles produce radiant (infrared) heat that warms plants and surfaces directly. A factory-standard Oxygen Depletion Sensor (ODS) shuts the heater down if it detects too little fresh air.

🌳 Important: fresh air for ventless heaters

A ventless heater releases moisture and combustion gases into the space. Always follow the owner's manual for fresh-air requirements, and never run it in a sealed greenhouse. Keep a vent or window slightly open while it runs, and install a carbon monoxide detector. If you would rather avoid combustion gases near your plants, consider one of our electric heaters.

Overview

Steady, direct heat for your greenhouse or workshop. This ventless heater runs on LP (propane) gas and puts out up to 18,000 BTU, enough for up to 600 sq ft of greenhouse or 1,000 sq ft of insulated structure. Multiple burner tiles produce radiant infrared heat that warms plants and surfaces directly, and the built-in thermostat holds your set temperature over long periods.

A quiet, battery-operated ignition makes it easy to start, and a built-in blower fan circulates the warmth. Stand it on the floor with the removable legs or mount it on a solid wall with the included bracket, but never on greenhouse walls. A factory-standard Oxygen Depletion Sensor shuts it down if it detects too little fresh air.

Fresh air matters: A ventless heater releases moisture and combustion gases. Follow the owner's manual, never run it in a sealed greenhouse, keep a vent or window slightly open, and install a carbon monoxide detector. If you'd rather avoid combustion gases near your plants, consider one of our electric heaters.
